Deadlock Calibration

Complete the matches still unplayed.

Order the remaining games in your eight-match calibration. This service finishes placement so the game can assign your visible rank; the result is not a rank you select in advance. Calibration uses Solo account play.

Count the matches that remain

Check your in-game calibration progress before choosing the quantity. For example, if three of the eight matches are already complete, select five. At $3.50 per match, that selection costs $17.50 with Any Heroes. Starting from zero completed matches means eight games and a base price of $28.00.

Calibration counts completed matches, including losses. It is a different purchase from net wins: a defeat does not add another placement match to the order. The selected number of remaining calibration games defines the work; a perfect win record is not part of the promise.

Understand the rank you receive

The game carries some prior performance history into calibration and determines your placement from there. Oracle VI is the highest possible starting result, not the result every account should expect. Paying for eight matches does not turn that ceiling into a guaranteed target.

Once calibration is complete, read the new badge and RP before planning another order. A climb to a chosen rank belongs in Rank Boosting; a fixed net-win goal belongs in Ranked Wins. You can consider Duo at that point, when your visible rank can be checked against the party limits.

Calibration FAQ

Why is Duo unavailable for calibration?

Deadlock does not allow parties during calibration. Solo here means a booster plays those matches on your account; it does not mean you queue alongside them. Use the schedule to set account-access windows. You do not need to attend the games.

What must be ready before the first match?

Check that Ranked is accessible, that calibration is still incomplete and that no matchmaking restrictions are active. Access needs 60 Standard wins and three heroes with 15 wins each. If those are missing, start with Ranked Unlock rather than buying placement matches the account cannot yet enter.

Does my previous rank guarantee the new placement?

No. Previous performance contributes to the game’s starting assessment, but does not make the old badge a promised result. The service completes the remaining calibration matches. Confirm the rank awarded afterward before pricing a further climb.

Can I keep a preferred hero pool during placement?

Yes, select at least three Ranked-eligible heroes. Hero Pool adds 15% to the match price; it does not change the number of matches ordered or the rank the game can award. Bans and hero availability still apply during calibration.

What if I play a calibration match before the boost starts?

Check the remaining count again and update the order before play begins. The usual start window is 30–60 minutes after confirmation, subject to your agreed access times. Cancellation is fully refundable before work starts; afterward, the unfinished portion follows the Refund Policy.
